Default help me clear an ses code please

can any one help me clear an ses code. it popped up after i put my new lid on and i didn;t put a hole in the lid for the temp sensor. today i put a hole in the lid and put the sensor and gromit in now i need to clear the code. any help would be appreciated.

Try unplugging the battery and plugging it back in, that'll reset the computer. If that doesnt work you probably damaged the MAF when you did the Lid.

go to a local autozone or advanced auto, tell them what ou did and you merely need to have the code dleared. SOme will tell you there not allowed to do so, but if you ask nicely, most will. Its always free.

yeah, battery thing worked, thanks alot. is that a bad way to do it or is the battery disconnect ok.

the right way to reset the pcm is key on and pull the PCM IGN and PCM BATT fuse for like 5-10 mins. Then turn key off, put fuses back, and start it up.

But the battery will USUALLY work
