I am in the Army and currently at Fort lewis, WA. I have talked to my retention NCO trying to get orders to Ft. Hood ether by 4187 or by re-enlisting. So far we have been unsuccessful. He said the only way to make this easier is if i might know someone who was already there who could do something for me. So this is what i have come up with. IF anyone on here has any useful information on this besides to call Branch because hey were of absolutley no help, than it would be greatly appreciated.

more info: I am in my window, i am not flagged, im not on profile, etc. etc. i am able to go anywhere just really want hood. please help me get there.

That's all on retention dude. Tell him to get off his *** and talk to the Brigade CSM, because that guy can always get it done.

Well Branch is the ones that will put you on assignment unless a Senior enlisted calls in a favor for you and you are not already on assignment. Have personnel check out EDAS for you to see if you are on assignment already but it just has not posted to your AKO yet. Happens a lot.

cant get hood...thats a first... but yea what Z06PSI said..or you might be fenced in?

Depending on your mos and rank your branch manager has requesitions to fill which might be priority over hood. Like for mp's right now ft wood and drum are priority fills for ssg's.
