Default My first 3D LT1 SS model

Created my first LT1 SS model on Max from scratch. I want to use the model to try out different type of rims and exterior modifications. At the moment i have AMG wheels on it. I might try to model a ZR1 wheel or other types of wheels later.

Good start with it, I've never used Autodesk 3d max, but I know AutoCad 3d leaves some to be desired. If you can get a hold of SolidWorks, you might never look back. Last year me and a friend designed a wheel/break combo for our CAD class that looks amazing. CCW classic replicas and a "dummy" Wilwood break caliper with a D/S rotor:

One thing you might try is the smooth more tool to round off the edges on your model. Keep up the good work OP!! If you have any questions on 3d modeling shoot me a PM. I'm majoring in these programs so I'm on them 40 hours a week!

Unfortunately I don't have the file for the wheel, it was on my friend's program.

Its fun once you get to know the program. You can do a lot of really cool stuff.
