Default Cam Motion Titan IV idle video

My roommate got his Cam Motion Titan IV 227/232 installed and fired up so we took a quick video:

Sounds every bit as lumpy as the 230/238 113+2 it replaced

I had a custom ground comp a while back, same duration numbers although the lobes were different I'm sure. Sounded real similar in a smaller cube 5.3.

Sounds great. I still need to cash in my half off for a Cam Motion cam. Titan was a name I came up with that he used to name a series of his shelf cams. Titan is my son's name (he's in my avatar).

It's open headers right now, waiting on parts to build a 3" to 4" y pipe setup.

It is running on the tune for the old cam, can't do any tuning until the exhaust is on.

Cool keep us posted if you can. Curious to what it does on the rollers/track when finished.

Right now it runs like a bag of dick. Under load it acts like it's misfiring on every cylinder. I've never driven one of these very long open headers, is that likely the problem?

Fuel trims are maxed at 25% when it's running like **** and the driver bank runs around 14% when it's not breaking up which leads me to think that is the problem.

Previous tune was on a restrictive 2.5" y pipe into a single 3" so going from that to open headers in itself would be vastly different even if it weren't for fresh air reversion to the o2 sensors.

Open headers allow the O2 sensors to freak the **** out so yea that's probably the issue. On another note heres how that similar duration cam sounded in my old truck..with spiral flows and true duals.

He went to a custom 3" y pipe with a 3"-3.5" flowmaster merge and then a 3" bullet dumped so it sounds really good with the exhaust on it now too.

Not super loud at idle or part throttle but screams under power.

The car feels a lot stronger now too. Partially the torquier cam and partially the much better exhaust setup (had a 2.5" y pipe with a crappy merge and Magnaflow catback)

Any updates on the car after being tuned properly? Any #'s? Thanks, TB

Could you post a picture of the cam card?

Or would you know the advertised durations?
