Talking 2 soundclips of my car! :) i LOVE it :)

just got around to making some soundclips, and the camera i use sometimes doesn't do it justice, but here are two short clips. one is under the car and one is back away from the car. in both vids, it starts out with cutouts closed, then about halfway through both of them i open 'em up.

its an '01 SS with Pacesetter coated LTs, QTP Dual Electric Y-pipe, and 16 in Dynomax Bullet Muffler. Its dumped after the muffler. its reallllly loud in person with cutouts open. the camera doesn't do it justice. anyways, whatcha think?

truth is. we took it to get a new DVD player installed because they old one quit reading CDs. we had to leave the car there all day and went to pick it up that night. the convertable top wouldn't work and the gauges were going BIZZERK (spelling?), and the car would just die when it was driving down the road. the people fucked something up and wouldn't admit it and we couldn't prove it. they let us bring it back the next day and fixed the convertable top but not anything else. cost me $600 for new DVD player.

so we brought it to a mustang performance shop and it stayed there 2 weeks while they retraced all the wires and installed a new computer for the car. cost me over $2000 plus another $500 and something for all the parts and labor.

got it back out and the boyfriend was driving home from going out one night and we were doing about 90 and he went to drop it into 4th from 5th and instead dropped it into 2nd and it blew the intercooler hose off, made the car die and we flooded the engine trying to restart it. got it towed. cost me about $100 for labor and almost $50 for towing the car 2 cities away. and after all that crap and wanted to get the hell away from that demon car!!

so ahhhhh... feels good to get that off my chest.

WOW... that was one fucked up Cobra... glad you decided to go with the RIGHT vehicle... They just made a ladies lounge, idk if you saw it... not much action over there but post up and introduce yourself if you havent yet.

Good luck with the SS.

Can you get some pics of the ypipe/cutouts on your car? Id like to see how close it is going to be with subframe connectors with your setup. My dual cutouts wont clear subframe connectors and are really low to the ground. I have about 4" of ground clearance and less once i and other people get in the car.
Thanks.
