Default I wanna get Photoshop, which one?

I've used photoshop a few times in school and I loved it. I love the things I could do. Anyways, i'm trying to find some info on Photoshop. I learned there are many different ones. I dunno how much any of them cost, but I want one that does the most for the money!

What do yall use?

Photoshop Elements, under $100., and does the most important/ common editing tasks. The full version of PS is total overkill for everyone except the imaging professional.

I prefer Fireworks hands down to Photoshop. But it will be interesting what Adobe does to Fireworks since they bought it from Macromedia. Macromedia makes things pretty easy for the user. Dreamweaver is awesome as well.

Macromedia can bloat your code though.

To the original poster...I would stick with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Yep, I like the Macromedia software too... but Adobe didn't just buy one program from Macromedia, they purchased the whole dang company.
