06' Corvette vs Cobra
I don't know if this one has been posted. Just saw it after viewing the Lambo vs GT race. I have never seen so many runs between 2 cars on one video. I can only conclude that the weight of the camera man has a significant affect on both cars.

You gotta take account the weight differences between the cars, themselves, as well. There's at least a 500lb. weight difference between just the cars, not including drivers/passengers.

Those two cars appear to be a very good match for each other. It's pretty much
neck and neck.
You can tell by the blower whine that the Cobra guy missed a gear on a few
runs. Can't tell much about the 'vette. Good races either way.
I think it's common knowledge that it takes about 50rwhp more for a Cobra to
run the same number as a 'vette. I guarantee that non-ported blower was
heat-soaked like a bitch after two passes. He probably lost 30rwhp or so.
No excuses though...just commenting.

I'll agree with Unit on this one.
Weight,Aerodynamics, and Heat soak for the Cobra.
The cd on the vette is .28 now I think or real close. It's over .34 for the mustang I believe. At speed that makes a difference.
Vette weighs less than 3,300 witout the driver. The Mustang probably weights 3,700+ lbs without driver. Anytime you accelerate weight has an effect.
Heat soak: There is a reason Cobra owners call it a HEATON instead of Eaton. Temps go up and air density drops costing a good deal of HP in some cases.
Holy fat cameraman Batman! The camera guy had to be a bit on the tubby side.
