First pics of my IROC in 3yrs
My other toy, my 88 IROC-Z w/ a 355 TPI tuned to 425hp
Old pic of the motor, but still looks the same!
First pics of it in 3yrs, been sitting for 2.
Feels different after driving the Hawk for a bit then getting in this one, the 3rd gens were more brash and less cushy feeling. But I love it.
Next, I gotta get some recent pics of the Hawk and post em.

Edelbrock TES headers & Y pipe

Hi Flo cat (hollow)

Eibach sport 1.5 inch lowering springs
Polyurathayne Bushings all around
modified lower control arms panhard bar and stiffened torque arm

355 c.i. 4 bolt main TPI Approx 425HP/455 lbs-TQ
Balanced and blue printed
heads flow charted
Forged steel crank
ported & polished 62cc heads
stainless steel valves
compress ratio of 10:6 to 1
ported oil passages
2 valve relief hyperutectic pistons

At my local track, which is horrible and known to be about 2-3 thenths slower than anywhere else, with bald, bald comp T/As which, after sitting for 3yrs, were hardder than heck. Anyway, enough with excuses, managed a first time of 13.5 @ 106mph. I'll try slicks next time and prob. grenade the 10 bolt.
Oh well, an excuse to install a 12 bolt or 9 inch and nitrous!

The car looks really nice! It's like you see 3rd gens in really nice condition like yours or you see them in really crappy condition. However, I wouldn't want to sit in your drivers seat using the 4 point seatbelt unless I wanted a compressed spine when I got in an accident. The mounts are nearly posted directly down behind the seat. How does that past the tech at the track? Unless you got some type of bar right behind the seats that the seat belts loop around that I can't see in the picture.
