When I was growing up, the Dukes of Hazzard was probably my favorite show. Along with Knight Rider. However when I was young, I just assumed the car could take the abuse.
As I got older, I realized they used a TON of chargers to make those scenes.
Now, here I am looking for a charger for a future project. I find myself hating the Dukes of Hazzard now. Because there will always be some idiot doing a jump with a charger, and usually, the cars they use arent that bad. Any charger Ive found so far has either been really nice and VERY pricey, or a complete rusted out basket case.
That car might not have been perfect...but I bet it was good enough to become a nice driver.
Im with outlaw... I wish they'd use non-charger cars and make them look like chargers. Most of the public wouldnt know any better these days anyway.
