Buyers Beware of David L. Short If a guy by the name of David Short messages you trying to sell you something be careful. I posted in parts wanted looking for a GMMG exhaust, he text me telling me he had one for sale, I sent the money through PayPal 6/11 but like a jack *** sent it as a gift being iv never had problems buying from members on here. I now have to file a dispute with my credit card company in hopes of getting my money back. He told me it would ship the day after I paid 6/12, then he text me the next night saying something came up and he would get it out Friday. I told him no problem and to shoot me tracking when available. Now a week later I cant get ahold of him and I dont have my exhaust. His number is 530-735-7670 and email is davidlshort9191@gmail.com. Im only posting this because I dont want to see another member get ripped off like myself.

This scumbag us now going by the name of Lonnie Carpenter. Another member just informed me he pulled the same **** just using a new name and email now but same number. His latest email is guitarlon@yahoo.com.
He is also on LTXtech using the same phone number 530-735-7670 and also 317-442-2813 along with email Itstimcox@gmail.com

Ended up getting my money back today thanks to my bank helping make it right. If anyone has any questions about this *** hole feel free to PM me with any questions. I have plenty of information on this guy that he has no idea about because of all his different names and number on other forums.

Agreed, he never wanted to answer my calls, texts or emails but once that money gets taken back that email works just fine. Im trying to refrain from emailing him back and calling him out with all his different names and emails. This guy has some nerve emailing after the **** I had to go through to get my money back.

Just sucks that now all you hear about is people getting scammed all over the place. Iv been a member for on tech for almost 6 years and have never had problems til lately, and iv bought plenty of stuff on here and sent payments as gifts and now it seems like you cant trust anyone. The crap that goes on now is ridiculous.
I emailed a guy on ltxtech that got scammed by this jack hole for $800 a few days ago, told him to do what I did. I hope he takes my advice. Less than 48 hours and I had the money back. I might be over reacting about this whole ordeal but the way I was raised to work hard and have a good work ethic to get what you want and scum bags like this guy making money scamming people down righ pisses me off.

Yea he tried to get me for a few hundred, I saw the pictures he had sent me where old pictures from a different forum. Immediately did a paypal claim. Guy made every excuse possible said he didn't have a real camera and some other bullshit.

Funny that he claims he doesn't have a camera. He had no problem emailing me from his iPhone. Interesting how that works.
