Out of State Buying/Selling Advice Needed
I'm not really sure where to post this.... When you have a car out of state that you want, and you have to use a check like capital one's blank loan check, when do you usually pay those funds? Here is the problem:
Seller paranoid of taking checks on the day of the sale, which will be a Friday afternoon, and buyer would be driving out of state right afterwards
Buyer paranoid to pay by check in advance of receiving the vehicle.
The loan amount is for about 2/3's of the price of the vehicle, and buyer has agreed to pay the other 3rd in cash at the time of the signing. At which point the blank check for the other 2/3's of the price would be given. That's the only compromise I can see that's safest for both parties. Are there any other ideas I'm missing? Please let me know if so.
Thanks in advance!

C1, actually gives you an authorization # that has to be on the check before it can be cashed, its a full proof thing, I have used them atleast 4-5 times in purchasing vehicles! Good luck
