My friend has a 99 z28 m6,was just wondering what kinda times he should be seeing with the following mods:Mac midlength headers,offroads,flowmaster catback,Nittos,Pro 5.0,4.10 gears,spec stage 2 clutch,lid,z06 MAF,smooth bellow,tb bypass,and a basic tune,any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: What kinda times.......
At least high 12's I woluld guess, but tell him to get rid of the mids and get longtubes, also get rid of that crapmaster and get a good catback, ie GMMG, loudmouth, SLP dual/dual, borla, magnaflow, ETC. There are so many better catbacks than flowmaster, and tell him to get the one that he likes the sound of best, because those I mentioned are mostly the same performance wise.

It's a chambered muffler exhaust. It's the rage at present for catbacks. I think it sounds great, loud with little rasp and an awesome exhaust note. I'd be using it, if I weren't going true duals.

as far as i understand a GMMG is about $700 whereas a loudmouth is $350. There is a big difference in prices between cat-backs. your friend needs Hooker 1 3/4" long tubes w/ QTECs and a loudmouth or comparable cat-back.

there is no significate horsepower or torque diferences between mac mid length and lts. i guartee it, and you have better clearance with the midleangth, midlengths may be 4 to 6 inches shorter if that that lts
