Default Is there a big diff........

I was wondering if there was a big diff. from my stock MAF compared to the zo6 MAF,before my new MAF this is my time:

other people say that other mafs are a good little hp gain but i say screw it. stick w/ your stock one. a bunch of people have gotten new maf's and its leans out your a/f mix. then it tends to start knocking. a while back i ported mine and it screwed up a lot of things so i had to get a hold of a stock one with the screen still intact and get it re tuned. it screwed up my computer that auto tap was registering 6 deg. of KR at wot. pretty sleezy. good luck

I have a different MAF sensor and it does fine, fuel trims are right where they should be and i have 0 KR, but if you did want to get a new MAF I would strongly recommend purchasing a MAF Translator. I think TR and Tbyrne has them in stock. Happy Modding

If your mixture and timing advance is pretty close to begin with (and it should be), then there's really nothing or almost nothing to gain with a larger MAF.

dont waist your $$$
use it for a mod that will produce bang for buck
the ones you got so far are some of the smartest you can do...
i'd say asp pulley and headers should be next
