Question Is there such a car as a 98-02 hardtop Trans Am or WS6?

Is there such a car as a 98-02 hardtop (not T-top) Trans Am or WS6? The only 98-02 Pontiac fbody hardtop I've found is the Formula. I like the appearance of the TA and WS6 better than the Formula, but I also like the hardtop option. If it comes down to it, I'd skip on the hardtop just to get the better overall appearance of the TA or WS6.

There is no such thing as a stock hardtop LS1 Trans Am. T-tops became standard on Trans Am in 1998.

However, you can get a WS6 hardtop in Formula trim, though the last year for Formula WS6 was 2000, and they are very rare cars to begin with.

Get the Trans Am if that's what you like better. Personally, as far as Trans Am goes I've been there and done that. If I get another Pontiac, I want a Formula.

Someone on here has a beautiful navy blue metallic FORMULA (i think thats the color), which is a 1 of 1 hardtop color combo.

Beautiful car!

There was a thread on this topic recently in the General LSX section, someone pointed out that GM did build something like 4 hardtop TAs in '98, they were special pre-production press type cars, not intended for sale to the general public. If you found one of those, it would be quite the valueble car.

But to the average joe, there was no hardtop option for Trans Am starting in '98. There were some who didn't beleive me, so I posted a pic of the '98 Firebird dealer brochure page that showed T-tops as standard for Trans Am.
