Default need answers!!

Hey guys i'm new here so don't be to hard on me lol, can anyone tell me if the ls series blocks can bolt up to my t5 camaro trans? i want to get a ls engine and convert it to carburetor, or is there is an adapter to make it fit, a T56 is really hard to come by around where i live, any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

What year 5 speed Camaro trans do you have? If it's the late model V6 tranny, then no it will not work without a custom bellhousing. Also, those 5 speeds do not hold enough power to make it worth your time or money to make it work. Other 5 speeds might be able to be made to work and that link has a bunch of information about them.
