I'm sure these replies are trying to set you straight, but we need more input. like is this a stock motor, daily, what hp you trying to accomplish etc..etc.. patriot perf. heads if your on a budget, cam size depends if your car is an auto or manual trans....plus if it's a daily or not. what r your goals? packages come in different options, just realy depends what you want out of your car..

Well, mine will be a DD m6. I've read enough on here to not slap the biggest cam in there without matching the rest of the system. I'm probably going to do suspension first then all engine components/exhaust after that. Well I might throw an exhaust on first lol. It just depends on the money situation (when doesn't it) and what I plan on using the car for either street or strip.

I have a 99 Trans Am with 3200 converter, long tubes, gear, and ported tb. I'm looking to either build an 408 or beef up my 346. Oh it has 163k on it. Which route do I need to travel? Looking to run some 11.20 to 11.50 on motor and 10's on spray.

It's best to start your own thread, no need to hijack the original poster's.

I went with Livernois Motorsports Stg2 LS6 Heads and a Futural Motorsport F-13 cam set-up about 7 or 8 years ago. It may seem ol'skool to some of these newer vendors, but this set-up works and very street friendly. I still have my stock LS6 intake on my car. I don't have any dyno numbers , but my best et so far is in my sig. Also remember, find a good tuner . That will make your h/c investment all worth it. Good luck
