foglight hids install first off i cant turn my fogs on unless my headlights r on.. even if i turn it into parking lights the headlights still come up... is this due to a bad motor in a headlights? if so is there anyway to get around it without replaceing the headlights? also how easy is the install on the new headlight motor,hid install on the fogs

The install for the HIDs is easy. Not sure about the headlight motor, as ive never done one. You can always wire the HID fogs up to a seperate toggle on/off switch. Alittle more wiring involved, but still pretty easy.

All you'd need to do really is put an always hot 12V wire feed to the stock fog switch to replace the switched 12V feed coming from the headlight switch. That would bypass the headlight on requirement and would be less wiring that replacing the whole mess with another switch.
