Default No start.......did Vats bypass

I did the key bypass a couple of weeks ago with resisters from Radio Shack.........
everything worked fine for a couple of weeks.....
today I went to start the car and nothing happened and the security light is now on. (its not blinking)

I thought the key bypass was the fix any ideas what happened?

Update.....later in the day.,.....I tried again , nothing,
I let the key on for 10 minutes and tried the car again, it starts now but the security light is still on.

check the connection where the resistors connect to the wiring, some thing happened to me and I unplugged the resistors and plugged the back in and all was well again.

I cut the wires and soldered them.
