close to gettin a cam and heads, how many people say that new lifters and rocker arms are needed or just a good suggestion and if so do i NEED them or just kinda if u want to get new do it now? tryin to keep price down on the not needed

i didnt replace them on my heads and cam swap. but depending on your mileage at least replace the lifters. its cheap insurance

Given what a bad lifter can cost, I'd save up another week or two in order to put a new set in.

if they are high mileage I would.just replace the trunnion bearings in the rockers.

It's not required unless yours are old and worn. The lower the mileage, the less it's "needed"

If u have the heads off then yes i would replace the lifters.

Might as well, peace of mind goes a long way. Like others have said, its just cheap insurance and you shouldn't rush a cam swap to be cheap only to hurt your car later down the line.
