Default Will oil hurt IAT sensor?

Long story short I was installing my SLP lid and was having hell getting the IAT sensor installed in the new lid, every time I would push in, the rubber gromett would pop out.

So after researching I seen people were using some sort of lube, well not having anything around the house I get the bright idea to us oil, well ..chain lube. Yeaah, didn't think about it much until I started thinking about how important the IAT sensor is. I still need a bellow so I will not be starting the car until morning, but I've read that any isues with the sensor and it will throw a code, so no codes means I'm safe for sure?

Ah didn't think about brake clean, and yeah I soaked it. I picked up another sensor at Napa for $15, had a bad feeling about the old one.
