Default Ride Harshness Lowered Euro cars vs American

Just wondering about the dynamics of lowered cars in relation to comfort.
A co-worker of mine has an 07' BMW 5 series that looks lower than my F-Body stock to stock.

I have an 02 WS6 with Konis and plan on getting Strano springs soon.

My question is what causes a BMW/Euro cars to be more comfortable even when the'yre lower?? Is it their padding throughout the cabin of plush materials?

I heard that the lower any car is the more harsh the ride will be. I see a lot of newer cars like the Mazdas, Euro cars, that all have a clean lowered stance. Most I would think would have to be comfortable.

Ideally I would like a comfortable lowered car, but I realize thats not possible
with and F Body generally speaking. As everyone's idea of comfort will be a little different.

Thoughts?

This is not going to be the answer you want but...

The price?

Seriously, the quality and engineering that goes into rides like the new 7 series or other BMWs is mind blowing. We had a few heavily up-armored ones in Iraq I was asked to work on and I told them I would rather fist fight a methed out grizzly bear.
