newb question: would bigger injectors benefit stock ls1 motor??
I know, ive been here a while so please dont flame... but I always wanted to know... I apoligise for stupid question...
My current 98 trans am in sig is a high mileage car that is a bolt on car only which is currently undergoing a 3400 stall, 3.73 gears and tune currently... Sticking with crappy ls1 intake for now due to limited budget : /
I was wondering, would my car gain HP or EVEN benefit from bigger injectors?? Or should i just save the purchase for after a rebuild and an H/C/I setup?
thanx!!

No. Your stock injectors are perfectly sized for your basically stock engine. Take them off and have them cleaned and rebuilt about $25 ea. before (or you can buy a new set for about the same price PM me) your tune and you will be suprised at how well they work with the mods you've done. Save new injector for the increased fuel demand a H/C/I will req.

The '98s and the '01-'02s have the biggest stock injectors to start with. '99-'00 use smaller stock units, and even those years won't benefit from bigger injectors with a 100% stock engine. So in your case, you would definitely see no gains.
