2000 firebird formula - service engine soon like is on, ran a scanner and it said clutch switch input circuit. i did just recently replace my stock clutch MC with the tick adj MC, could this have anything to do with it?

yes, with the tick the pedal doesn't come up as far and compress the switch fully

go under and just push the switch further in until it makes contact again

not to hyjack ur thread bro but I am having the same problem....I just recently installed a MC from autozone and my SES light came on as well with the same code......clutch switch input. My question is when you say go under where do you mean? Under the car where the MC plugs into the slave or where the MC connect to the pedal? Thanks

down by the pedals themselves, take off the bottom interior panel so you can get a better view, there's a switch at the bottom and the top of clutch pedal

i recently have this hanging out...broken clip...

what problems will i have without it hooked up? or contacting the pedal?

i still have to push in the clutch to start the car too...
