Default oil consumption?

Do our cars tend to use or burn oil? i drive it about 45 miles to school a day.

some yes. a catch can will keep it from going into your intake.

The catch can will only help if the oil consumption is via the PCV system. If it's getting past the rings, the catch can will do nothing to stop that.

well there is no smoke or oil anywhere in the exhaust. but the TB does have a very thin film of oil
