LS2 engine, 6 speed trans, ECU swap
I am planing to do an engine swap in my black '98 WS6 vert with LS1 and 6 speed manual. I located an engine (LS2) with 6 speed manual trans and ECU from a 07 CTS-V in OHIO. What are the pros and cons of using a CTS-V LS2 set-up? There always seams to be a premium ($$$) on the CTS-V LS2 engine/trans/ECU from a CTS-V in contrast to a GTO LS2 engine/trans/ECU. My goals are to have a streetable car with mild cam, ported heads, and bolt-ons (headers, etc) using the LS2 set-up. I will likely purchase PRC heads and TV2 cam from TSP. I plan to sell my LS1 complete engine after the swap. Any input on the advantages to the CTS-V set-up would be greatly appreciated prior to the purchase.

The swap should be pretty straight forward since we are swapping the engine (LS2), transmission, and ECU. I was wondering if there is any advantage to using the CTS-V set-up (engine/transmisssion/ECU) over a GTO set-up? It seams like the CTS-V items bring more $$$ tan the GTO items. Is there any significant difference (Transmission, etc)?
