Question High Oil Pressure?

I read on a separate website, and have searched the roundabout average of ls1 oil pressure but i couldnt find a direct answer. The car idles around 40-42psi. and at 60mph 1800-1900rpm its about 60-62. is this too high? Thanks for the help.

From what I have read many people prefer their oil pressure to be around 70 psi...

Rule of thumb. You must have 10psi per 1k RPMs to run correctly for example 4k RPMs needs to be pushing 40psi at least. 60psi is perfectly normal.

Its normal. I run on the high side because of a different pump. When your idle pressure is around 20 you should start to worry unless youve been driving for hours and its ***** hot out.
