Default Cam specs

I've got a 427 engine built, and having an argument with a guy about the cam specs. He seems to think that the cam is rather radical, and responsible for his difficulties tuning the car. From what I've heard otherwise, this is a rather mild cam. So what do you think?

Cam Motion XA-232-350-228-350-16

Duration @ .050" = 232, exh. 228
Lift with 1.8 = int .630", exh .630"
Lobe separation = 116
Intake center line = 109.25

Yeah, I believe you are correct. I'm talking with a guy by the name of Ed Hutchings now to help me with this.

Thanks.

Ed has a great rep you should be in good hands. That is a baby cam. You should ditch the 1.8 rockers as you will see much better valve control with 1.7....
