Default ls1 cluster on a 3.8

A buddy of mine has a '01 v6 camaro and wants to put a ls1 cluster in it. Will it be a simple plug and play or will he come across problems?

why does he want to do this? it says 150mph but that doesnt mean he'll get to go that fast. best way is to try it and see.

If you are doing it for novelty just to see how fast the car is going, get a speedometer app for your smart phone.

Its really not plug & play and not worth it if you aren't doing a v8 swap.
