Exclamation Fire in the air pump lines?

Hello,
so i decided to remove the air pump on my 02 Ws6,
i did not seal the lines that are connected to the air pump lines though, just started the car to check if any error lights decide to pop up, none came up.
---
i went and looked inside the lines while the car is running i saw blue flame... that made me worry sick so i turned of the engine immediately.

so is what i saw normal , should i worry?
------------------
FYI - i'm getting the lines cut off and blocked using the old air pump lines to seal em in a matter of hours.
im not intending to leave it unsealed.

So the lines attached to the exhaust is still hooked up? If so I could see why flames would come out

the service engine soon light came on because you removed the air system from the car.. it will stay there until you get it tuned out. why didnt you get block off plates when you decided to do this? you cant just cut a line from the exhaust and think its fine....

EDIT: Just looked at your location (in your first post). I'm guessing shipping would be a bit much, lol.

Not sure on the sound, but I'd happily buy your Air Pump(I need one for emissions inspections) and air pump hoses too. If you wanna sell em, send me a PM
