Lids...the never ending battle
Maybe the mods want this as a sticky I don't know, but I know its annoying when people keep asking so lets get this out of the way.
Stock Lid:
Note all the obstructions in the lid. Airflow is hindered/blocked.
Aftermarket Lid (SLP):
The Comparison:
If anyone else wishes to post pics of their lid's please do so. Figure the newb's can look to this before making their own thread.
(Yes I'm bored... )

but a clear lid gets the looks that no other can get even carbon fibre lids dont have the woo that people say when you see the clear/smoked lid.
TSP is my vote. perfect fitment unlike some of the other guys. no b/s strips to keep the filter snug with the holley powershot

Very few people know this...but I'll let you guys in on a little secret. The real purpose of a lid is to house the MAF which in turn has a bellows that goes to the TB. It's that bellows where your shark nozzle is installed.
...and that is the reason for a lid.

I am incredibly happy with my smoked lid from TSP, no leaks, fits great, installed in five minutes right there at their shop in the parking lot, noticable difference from the moment I started it up. Hard to make me happier for a c note and change......Just my newbie thoughts......
