If so, I'll obviously need a new pickup pipe but what about the windage tray? Can I retain the vortec one?

Usually windage trays are specific to the pan being used, ls block in a truck will have a different windage tray then a ls in a car... Id order it just for piece of mind. But I cant say I specifically don't that swap... Id bet they are different.

Looks like the pans are interchangeable tho.
