Hi all, new here so hope this is the correct section for my post. Im just wondering if anyone can clarify this for me, I know there is a few post about this but not too specific. The lq4 had some changes to the pistons I thought, maybe 02/03 because of piston slap. Is this true? Or can anyone give me the details on the lq4 history?

Pretty sure the only difference was the rear of the crank and the heads being iron. I think those were both one year, very early on.

I haven't heard anything regarding pistons, unless you are getting the LQ4 mixed up with the LQ9.
