I have an 408 stroker built currently with aluminum 317's stock. And am sitting at 10.16 to 1 compression. It has a gmpp hot cam. This engine is going to be going in a 92 Silverado 4x4. Should I have the heads port and polished and milled down a little bit. Or could I get a different set of cathedral heads for around the same cost for more power?

It currently has the lq4 intake and throttle body. They dynoed the engine with. A carb and eddlbrock intake and made 489 HP and 520 tq. That's was with stock 317 heads and stock headers. I plan on getting better headers once I can find a set that will fit
