Lifters/new heads install. Hey everyone, getting ready to install a new set of lifters and a set of P&P 241 heads. I did lifters on my 3.8, but have never gotten this far into an Ls1 before. Car is an 00 A4 Z28. Im just looking for any tips or reccomendations to make this go as smooth as possible, and have the car up and running as it is my daily driver. thanks all!

Soak the lifters in oil for a while before you install.
Be sure to blow all the coolant out of the head bolt holes in the block before you reinstall the new bolts.
Use red hi-temp RTV silicone on all intake rocker arm bolts.
Clean the block decks very thoroughly before new gaskets go on.
New lifter trays, head gaskets, head bolts, water pump gaskets, and spark plugs.
