New 01' Z28 First Race!! :hump: So this is my first Post besides a reply...I just bought my 01' Z about a 3-4 weeks ago. I wanted to get a good feel for it b4 breaking it in. So, tonight after stopping by the gas station I saw a Black SS 98/99 I think. He had exaust work done, but as he was driving off i nodded as he checked out my Z. So, I get in and next thing i know he's waiting for me b4 getting onto the highway. No one was around besides ppl at the station...So I was like what the hell. He pulled off about 3 car lenths ahead of me and (not racing) and for some reason i was hesitant to get neck and neck. We were doing about 50 and he is about 2 car lenths ahead of me when BLAME I heard him hit it. I was in 2nd and I noticed i was gainning pretty good when i look down and i'm approching 5,800 @ ~70mph in 2nd. Then i heard him shift to 3rd MISTAKE. I still had about another 7mph to go knowing i was gainning I had an AWESOME 2-3rd and Wham batman Holly hell it was over from there I pulled right by him. Hit about 110 and looked back and he was about 3 cars behind????? I don't understand. I though for sure he'd get me but as i slowed down we exchanged 
with a nice thumbs up from the both of us! What a feeling!! This car is 
Love the hell outta it! BTW how do i set up my profile and my buddy icon (I forgot the real name). PS THX DMNSPD! I've fixed her up a good bit *Lower control arms, tires, rear shocks, etc!
