Are all LS motors front and rear timing covers interchangable?
Will an LS1 or LS 5.3 timing cover fit on an LS3?

No the LS3 cover has the cam position sensor in the timing cover. The GEN-3 LS motors had the cam sensor in the back of the block and a blank timing cover. The LS3 is a GEN-4 motor.

So the you can swap covers from one gen-3 to another but not on the newer LS motors.
