Default Flow's ..and cutout's

well as you can see im new.. i have a 00' t/a ws6 ..runs good to me..its my 1st car and dont really have anything to compare it too..but im lookin for a lil gain in HP and power.. i thought about 4.10 gear..or maybe 3.73..still havent decided..so i could use some thoughts there..and i have flowmaster exhaust which came with it when i bought it from auction..and i read on here about just doin a cut-out since the flow's are trash..lol

my question is ..keep the flows and do a cutout? or just get a whole new exhaust.. money is a bit of prob to i guess..thx

If money is an issue right now, and you are looking for hp, then yes, get the cutout and keep the exhaust. A hooker catback is cheap, sounds and flows great, but IMO a catback is useless (except for sound) without LT's. Good luck.

Watch out for the 4.10's in M6, the 3.73's are thicker. If I could do it all over again the electric cut out from QTP would be the way to go. Your competition will WTF when you open it up. Good luck. I would definitly would save your money for lt's, cam, & z06 intake. I bought all my stuff used on this site.

1. if you have a m6 then you already have 3.42 gears and 3.73 are not a big enough differance to be worth the time and money.
2. 4.10 will wake you car up however .4.10s will make an already weak rearend package even weaker... if your plans are to stay pretty stock then go for 4.10's if your plans include some real hp mods then save your $$ for a real rear end
