Default LS1 block

I've just bought myself a LS1 from a Camaro 98 .
the block on this engine is destroyed.
Summit sells this block http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/nal - 12561166/overview/
Summit says that this does not fit my heads / internals . Are there other blocks where I can use my stock heads / internals ?
sorry for bad english

It may be cheaper and easier to buy a complete replacement short block from TSM.
http://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/p...&products_id=9
By the time you buy the block for $1000 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/na...1166/overview/ and $630 for rings, bearings, and gaskets http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fem-bk6081000 plus have the new block machined you'll be most of the way to a assembled short block that comes with a warranty.
