Default How lazy are these tach's?

I just got back from a ride doing a couple WOT runs. I try to never bump the limiter but it feels like the car has alot more in it than when I shift @ 6100rpms. Is it possible my tach is off 200-400 rpms?

i wouldnt doubt it, mines off at 200 @ idle. you'll really notice the slowness of the tach when you start adding mods. shift lights are your friendss

get a shift light best money you'll invest, and I have a 6600 rev limiter.

i have a diablo sport so i know that mine isnt off at idle but they are off at WOT. i have my shift light set at 6k and it goes off in first at 5500 so i know its off. its almost on by 3rd gear though. i watched my friends TT ls1 get dynoed and his hit its 6400 limiter at 5800 in fourth. if you take it to the limiter (which is 6200 stock) it will give you an idea of where your 6k is. which is where you should shift.
