Default Need Some Help Please

Ok did a seach & found out that my 99 a4's shift **** is held on with a clip in the front,my ? is how do I get that damn clip out?
Any help woul be great

u should be able to get at the back of the clip with a small straight screwdriver, and pull it right out. or get a hold of it with a pair of pliers and pull it out. either way should work

needle nose pliers should get it out

you should just be able to pull it straight out

Turn your ignition key to the on position and put the shifter all the way down in 1st gear, this will give you more room to get a good view of what your doing. Like the others said use a small flat blade screwdriver and pry it out. Should come right out.
