Knock when turning off

Knock when turning off Hey
I just got my 99 Z28 and when ever i turn the car off it almost sounds like the car is knocking, it only sounds like it does it about three times, i was just wondering if this is normal or is this indicative of a more serious problem, oh the only time i hear it is when i pull into my garage bay, the only other time that i hear anything even close to it is when the skipshift kicks in and i am forced to grab fourth gear at about 600 rpm. Oh, if this is already posted im sorry, i searched and didnt find anything like this.

Fixed it, lol Ok, after starting and turning off my car many times, i still couldn't find an answer, well i took a shot in the dark and filled my gas tank up with a different brand then what i had been using, i dunno how or why but my car just likes Mobil, whatever
