New LS3 Crate Motor (430HP) question Searched here and more broadly - must not know how to ask for it. Anyone know (for sure -- you've measured yours....) what the water pump inlet and outlet neck diameters are? Have to have a custom rad made, haven't picked up the motor yet and want to be sure I have the rad inlet/outlet diameters matching what's on the pump. Thanks -- Michael

Well, Karl at City Chevrolet (Hendrick) in Charlotte took a tape measure and measured them for me today. The new LS3 crate comes with the Corvette water pump and balancer and Camaro exhaust manifolds. The pump inlet (t'stat location) is a 1 5/8" diameter neck; the pump outlet (hot to rad) is a 1 3/8" neck.
