SLP LM1 to Magnaflow axle back?
My '99 WS6 has an LM1 resonator dumped at the axle. It's nice but it's stupid loud. There's a guy on CL who has a Magnaflow axle back 1-in-2-out with tips and all for $150. How would this sound? I have a pair of Classic Chambered Powerstick mufflers (GMMG equivalent) that I wanted to put on, but they might be pretty loud even with the LM1 resonator in place. Thoughts?
Car has MS3 cam, ORY, long tubes, tune and all that jazz.

Not the exact same thing but I switched to a MagnaFlow bullet style muffler from the LM1 resonator, and the difference was big. Much deeper sound with very little rasp

I think it would be a good choice for you and the price is reasonable unless it has the cannon tips which will unfortunately magnify the volume. If that's the case, I'd rather buy the muffler new (~$110), some nice tips, and have a shop fab the tailpipes. Double wall Maganaflow tips look really good on WS6's IMO. Launching!
Like HCI2000SS, all I did with my SLP LM1 was change the bullet to the MF version. car was much better and very little rasp, but better deep rumble......as said before.
