Hey everyone, I have a 1999 WS6 and I want to cam it but keep it smog legal in California, I have read other forums to go with a 224/224 114 LSA but can I change the intake manifold and still be smog legal with that cam or would I have to go smaller cam so I can change intake manifold, I wanted to use the FAST LSX R intake and run the 224/224 114 cam would I still pass smog in California, I want great power/torque without changing heads, the car is stock all it has is K&N drop in filter SLP lip and exhaust cutout T56 manual transmission, any info and advice would be appreciated.

id be more concerned about a cam impacting emissions over an intake.


if your cam is legal i dont see why a FAST wouldnt be.

Yeah, I just want to put the fast intake 102mm and the 224/224 114 lsa cam because that's the biggest I can go and stay smog legal in California I want to have both.

The FAST 102, an 92 intake manifolds are both smog legal in California.
As far as cams I'd recommend going with something like a 220/228 114lsa to help offset the restrictive exhaust factory.
