Give TSP a call and they will get you hooked up with there cam kit.

I personally would step up to the TSP 228R.

I personally like the sound of the 224 but what is better about the 228?

Care to elaborate on why there is no purpose for any cam smaller than that? They might be looking for something more mild than that.

Search my friend... the 228R is very popular choice..and still easily drivable.

This is the newbie area. This is where the new guys come for advice. Yes, there is a search function, but that doesn't always render results for a person's opinion.

Go here and read the two stickies. They will give you a lot of info. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...rnal-engine-5/
Also, call TSP and tell them how your car is currently set up and what you WANT to do/what you WANT to get out of the motor. You can run the 224 and 228 without doing other work (though for best results you need to). However, once you dip into the 23X+ ranges you will need exhaust, converter (if A4), gears (new gears will differ for M6 & A4), tune...

Do lots and lots of reading. TSP and Tick will treat you right if you take the time to contact them.
