Can i replace just the wiring for my o2 sensors?

Can i replace just the wiring for my o2 sensors? So ive been having problems with my car misfiring over 2500 rpm but in 3rd i can go even higher into the rpms before it starts to missfire. A guy that tunes and the guy that was tuning my car both say its because my o2 sensors arent being red because the wiring harness is bad to the o2 sensors. So i was wondering do i have to blow $400 on a whole new wiring harness or can i just do the wires that go to the o2 sensors. The car is 01 z28 t56 car with a cam 31lb fuel injectors and long tube headers. I had the car tuned for the cam and injectors and we did new o2 sensors because we thought the old ones were bad. Anyone know anything i could really use some help.

Are you using extensions with your o2's because or your long tube headers?
