I was just discussing headers and must do mods before cam install. I personally have always added longtubes before even thinking about a cam, however I was wonder if anyone has any dyno numbers from stock manifold cars from 01-02 with a cam?

Curious I guess....I hear they actually flow pretty well.

With cam and supporting mods long tube headers are going to make a substantial difference over the stock manifolds

Just an FYI, 2000 manifolds are the same as '01/'02, the only difference with '01+ is that the EGR boss is not drilled out.

They don't flow that well, they are just a slightly better design than the '98-'99 pieces. Neither manifold design comes close to the flow potential of good LT headers, which is why the '00+ cars seem to gain nearly as much horsepower from LT headers as the '98-'99 cars on average, even with a stock cam.
