Default 4 spd or 6 spd?

Thinking about getting myself a used Chevy pickup and getting rid of my '14 Ram. Lately I'm not a big fan of the lack of aftermarket for the 5.7 Hemi. Right now I have my eye on a '09 1500 Crew Cab. It's got 102,000 on the ticker, which I figure isn't much for the 5.3. I'm not sure if it has the 4 spd or 6 spd in it. Either way, I've read a little about the two, and there's conflicting stories. I'm trying to figure out what the designations are for the two transmissions. Is it the 4L60E and 6L60E (I'm guessing on the 6). What are the opinions on the two. Thanks for your replies in advance.
