Do i need a new tune after rebuid? Hello,
I recently bought a 2002 avalanche which had the 6.0 vortec with the 5.3 heads, theres a cam and 45 ibs injectors, dual Titanium valave springs . Anyway somehow how the piston broke off destroying the head, cylinder walls were fine. So i put new pistions and bearings in, refurbished heads. Ok that being said i started the engine for breakin and it fired right up, about 5 mins into tje break in i started hearing a noise which sounds like a back fire out of the intake. The truck has a tune and am wondering if i have to get it retuned and what your guys thought are. I didnt do any upgraded just replace broken or worn parts. Thanks...
