hello everyone im new here i own a 2002 Trans am 5.7 manual 6speed and i am getting my engine rebuilt and machined as well as the heads and with some minor upgrades like a cam with 212/218 lsa of 114 lift is .522/.529 , new valve train components and the guy had to bore out my cylinders 5 over and he also said hes done a few things to bump up the compression a bit and im also gunna be installing bbk lt headers with the ory . now my question is am i gonna be throwing any ses/cel codes when i get everything back up and running . any tips for a newly rebuilt motor and break in will be greatly appreciated .and also will i need to absolutely have to get a tune done for it to run and idle properly ?

Your machinist should be able to tell you exactly how he wants it broken in. And yes, you will need a retune is your previous tune was for a stock setup.
How do you know he'll regret it when you dont even know what he plans on doing with the car??

yeah i meant honed lol and the reason i went with a mild cam is that this car is my only ride right now so im more into whats reliable right now and maybe in the future i will get a bigger cam plus my car was loud as **** anyways lol dont want the police called on me
